Charlie is a licensed real estate Broker doing business as one of Ritchie-Hallanan's Broker Associates. While Charlie's real estate activities and expertise encompass the broader residential markets of both San Francisco and the Peninsula, he has developed a special emphasis on the City's neighborhoods west of Twin Peaks. He came to Ritchie-Hallanan after an association of several years with another local brokerage. Charlie is a third-generation San Franciscan who grew up on the mid-Peninsula. He has been a City resident and homeowner for nearly ten years, this after returning from a fifteen-year stint on the East Coast. Spent mostly in Washington, D.C., that period included service at the Commerce and State Departments as well as in the Executive Office of the President. Beginning in 1972 and bracketing his government service, Charlie has represented U.S. and foreign clients in international business activities. Charlie received a B.S. in Political Science from Santa Clara University in 1976, and pursued further studies at the Monterey Institute of Foreign Studies, M.I.T./Harvard Law and Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He is a member of the S.F. Museum & Historical Society, KQED's Leadership Circle, the Miraloma Park Improvement Club and the Greater San Francisco Association of Realtors. |
