Mrs. Ritchie is a fifth generation San Franciscan and a graduate of Burlingame High School and the University of California, Berkeley. Her husband John Ritchie has had his own industrial/commercial real estate firm, headquartered in San Francisco, for 40+ years. Mrs. Ritchie has been and remains active in numerous charitable, cultural, and civic endeavors including San Francisco Beautiful, The San Francisco Symphony, and the Consular Corps Wives. She is very active as a hostess and participant with her husband in his many civic and cultural endeavors. Mrs.
Ritchie remains active in the business and enjoys a strong and extensive
real estate background. She has been very prominent in the residential
sales community helping old line San Franciscans to buy and sell
their Pacific Heights homes for years. She began her career in 1956
when she established Presidio Properties, a partnership. She lived
and worked in Presidio Heights for almost forty years. Mrs. Ritchie
has raised a family of four, some of whom have made a reputation
for themselves in commercial sales and other local businesses. She
co-founded Ritchie Hallanan Co. in 1984 with partner Doris Hallanan. |
